On February 18, 2026, the Student Managed Investment Fund had the pleasure of welcoming Dan Greenberg, CFA, for a lunch event followed by an engaging presentation.
Dan Greenberg is an investment professional with 18+ years of extensive experience specializing in portfolio management, construction, and client relationship management across diverse segments. He currently serves as the Head of Aperio’s (BlackRock) East region, leading a 10-person client relationship team overseeing $60 billion+ in AUM. In his prior role, he co-managed approximately $2.7 billion in client AUM while driving new sales initiatives and expanding their business portfolio across various investment strategies.
His expertise encompasses a wide range of asset classes, including equities (active, passive, factor-based, direct indexing, long/short), fixed income (taxable and municipal), and liquid alternatives (multi-manager, non-traditional, market-neutral). Proficient in managing investment vehicles such as separately managed accounts (SMAs), ETFs, and mutual funds.
He leverages his robust investment background and capital markets knowledge to provide clear investment recommendations to both retail and institutional clients. Building strong rapport and trust, he ensures consistent investment performance aligned with clients’ unique goals and objectives. By attentively listening to clients, he tailors investment solutions to capitalize on market opportunities effectively.
